Kevin & Cheryl,
I am still absorbing all of the happenings at my event yesterday.
The outpouring of love and support was overwhelming to say the
least. I actually had a job for several years setting up large
events for shareholders and public offerings of companies. (Even
had a 3000+ person party for Lee Iococa when he retired from
Chryser). In all of that time, I never witnessed any event that
went as smoothly or was as fine-tuned as what you two accomplished
for me yesterday. I know that was an extreme challenge especially
considering the personalities invoved in this.
I can't thank you enough for your total dedication and hard
work. I am very aware of all you did to accomplish this and
will be eternally grateful. I even re-established ralationships
with old friends that I'd lost contact with for more than 30
years. What could be more valuable than that?
I will be going into rehab for a coulple of months soon. I know
your schedule is busy too, but I INSIST that when I return home,
you allow Rick & me to take the two of you out for dinner.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you better. You guys
are a total class act and I love you.
